Basic Grey... I love you!

The Basic Grey papers are my favorite and have been for quite awhile... all you have to do is look through my stash of paper to see that... however, I have noticed lately that the paper is slightly thinner and the inks are not as crisp. That doesn't really matter though and I have been doing the double page layout monthly kits this year through Dragonfly Scrapbooking... here http://www.dragonflyscrapbooking.com/home.html they are full of instructions and there is a lot of extra things and paper left over for something else. All of the layouts are changed slightly in that they are completely on one page... the designers made theirs to overlap from the left to the right pages but to have them in an album, that just doesn't work. Here's what's been done so far:

January: I pretty much followed the instructions exactly...

February: Still following their lead...even the title...but changed it at the journaling part a little and where the buttons are on the pink strips.

March: I really liked this design... but since I don't like hand journaling, I printed mine out on another piece of paper.

April:So, this is the month things changed the most so far... the brackets were an add on and the pink fancy paper was cut differently.

May:This layout had a more meaningful title for me and I changed a few little things.

June: This paper I love... and bought a whole pack... it is so beautiful. This is my birth mother...and was a life changing moment... I think I will add something to the left page just after the title.. it looks a little blank... maybe a baby picture.

I'm working on the next one using the JuneBug collection.
