Wondering When

the winter edition of Canadian Scrapbooker is coming... I was published in it!! How exciting that is and when I got the email asking for my layout, I was really pumped!! It was one I had sent in because a few of my friends said they really liked it... I thought it was pretty simple... and encouraged me to submit (thanks Mary!) and so I submitted it thinking... 'well, here goes another one!' So you can imagine my surprise!

unfortunately the bunny has lost his ears...lol! This was done for a sketch challenge on the Sisterhood of Scrap.

Halloween.....

I wish we could have gotten to see Maria on Halloween...we did get some photos of the day before though - here is a little bit of scrapping I did of one of the photos... I love the look on her face!!

A funny thing happened

When Kate and Amber went out to Live At Squamish they had a great time....well, maybe too great of a time and after a few drinks they were hilarious. So I made a mini album for their stockings out of some older one sided paper and paper lunch bags ... here is a bit of one of them..




I love that ticket stamp I bought and it worked so well with these photos!!

Making Cards

I've been playing with paper tonight and making some cards. For the challenge today using stripes and trees I made these:

The challenge I posted for November 2nd is to use other colors besides the traditional red and green and add a little bling or glitter... here are my samples:

they are all on white cardstock... the birds are all popped up with pop dots and glitter has been added to them in a few spots.
