A 'Green' Project

At least I think it's green! Ever wonder what to do with those old postcards... or with the free ones you sometimes get in the mail with advertising on them? Well, why not create a mini book for some of your summer photos?! It's just the right size... 4 x 6" - I've added the ring binding but anything would work.
It's not quite finished yet... but I've covered all the cards with this great paper I got from http://www.dragonflyscrapbooking.com/home.html - it's made by Creative Imaginations and is double sided and nice and heavy so it is really good to work with.

WOW! It's been awhile

I've been busy shuffling things around the house to accomodate a couple of kids moving here... well, one is ours and the other is his and she is going to have our grandbaby! We don't know what number 5 will be yet and I got tired of saying it... or him/her... now this baby is "Itsy"... hopefully I will remember the chosen name when Itsy is born!! I am lucky that Itsy's mommy has gotten addicted to scrapbooking since she's been here... we have been busy in my scrap room. She isn't comfortable posting her work yet but she is doing really nice work. So... here's some more of mine:

This is some older Cosmo Cricket that I've been hoarding cause I love it so much... it was perfect for this photo of Mandy in Mexico!

This is a close up of the felt flower with an eyelet holding it on the page.
This is a framed layout of my beautiful mother-in-law that I made for Bruce for Father's Day... I am so lucky he likes this kind of thing on the walls!
