Flowers!

If you saw my garden you would think I am a shrub and tree lover. Mostly there are shrubs and trees because I love texture (and lots of ground cover) and the different shades of green. Every spring when those tulips and daffodils poke up through the ground though, I get all excited to see new colors emerge but right now the ground is a mess of wet, slushy snow so all those pretty little flowers are still asleep here. So, I took some close ups of my 'birthday' flowers, some of which are still alive and well in a smaller vase. Here is one of them!
