I am taking part in a few challenges at the Sisterhood of Scrap forum... so thought I'd try something a little different... not too sure I like how it turned out but here it is:
This is my grandmother during her acting on stage years... I wanted something a little different so I painted some paper flowers with some metal paint - first I tried copper but it was so bright and not quite right so I added some Rich Espresso Metallic paint... the color is better but still pretty bright. Thought I'd post it so you can see what a little paint can do to some really ugly colored flowers!Today I spent a few hours with Maria crafting and literally making a huge mess punching out 100 butterflies for her schools 100 days of school day! She was great at making things and after all the butterflies were done, she made a really cute bird:
She is so creative - she added a little blue tail later.
