I Attended A Crop

Last weekend I was scrapping with some friends in Maple Ridge to raise money to end breast cancer... I didn't get much done while I was there because I was so disorganized (I promise to be better next time!)and had to chat too, of course! I managed to get one layout done - except for some journaling that I am still working towards LOL... and another one was done when I got home... here they are.

I'm not sure what I want to do for journaling so I left a space and will add it later... I hope!!

This is the first time I have used thickers vinyl letter stickers... I really like them but the 'M' just wouldn't stay where it was supposed to go so I took it off... and discovered a really sticky mess of adhesive... ugh... right on the photo! I don't know if it's because they might have been old or not but I do have lots of chipboard so I changed plans and added a star and went with it... and added some die cut ones and a chipboard moon as well... I like how it turned out so it didn't end up in the garbage! Now if I could just take a decent photo!!
Here's a close up. I really like this older Scenic Route paper... it's so colorful and great for kid photos!

Great save Lois. The layout looks great with the stars and moon as well.

Love how it turned out. I have that problem with thickers as well. I often need to add more adhesive to them. Love thickers, hate their adhesive.

Same thing here! I ALWAYS add adhesive to my Thickers now. Drives me bonkers, but they are such nice lettering... argh, eh?

Your made a good save there!! Looks GREAT! :O) ~ Ali
