What the heck is that? The only thing that comes to mind is rock of some sort.

Hmmm....other than a mossy rock of some sort I don't know what it could be.
unless it's the inside of a vacuum canister (I was reminded of it when vacuuming yesterday) you know, I collection of crud off our floors.
